A low-profile circular disk microstrip antenna for dual ism band (902MHz and 2.4GHz) application
Abstract
In this research work, a disk microstrip antenna has been designed with a circular radiating patch. The radiating patch and ground of the antenna are shorted with a shorting pin in order to generate another resonant band apart from the principle resonant band. Also, an optimized V-shaped slot has been introduced on the radiating patch to shift the resonant bands and improve the impedance matching. The unique feature of this antenna design is that it has dual ISM band applications.
