Abstract

This paper presents a study on the influence of different PWM control techniques for a voltage inverter on an induction motor. In the first step, we implemented the PWM techniques using the Xilinx System Generator tool, which allows for implementation on the FPGA board. Next, we compared the various PWM techniques and their effects on the operation of the induction motor, The results showed an improvement in electromagnetic torque ripple and starting current, with acceptable synthesis results in terms of FPGA resource consumption.
